A Collaborative Learning Space that Features Best Practices and Competencies Across Southeast Asia
The 3rd Integrated STEM Leadership Summit in Asia is a collaborative learning space that features best practices and competencies across Southeast Asian regions. Leaders from different sectors of society and policymakers will come together and engage in transdisciplinary dialogues to formulate sustainable and systemic solutions at the nexus of education, health, economy, environment, arts, and culture. The 3rd summit also features the MIT Global Opportunity Initiative Launch in Southeast Asia. This launch intends to provide the workforce with learning opportunities that will help them prosper in a rapidly-changing economy. These integrated efforts intend to develop and embody a more holistic approach to improving the quality of education and building a high-income nation.

The pandemic and the rapidly changing economy resulted in an increased number of displaced workers and a skill gap in the workforce. Day One of the Summit will convene industry leaders, policymakers, and key stakeholders to build robust ecosystems of shared practices across Southeast Asian regions that empower the workforce and connect the education system with the industry needs.
